Day 2

Day 2 wasn't quite off to the start that was planned. Loyal didn't set the alarm so he woke up a little later than expected. It worked out nicely for the kids and I though. We were able to sleep in and say goodbye without having cranky kids running on no sleep for the rest of the day. Loyal headed through La Pine to say goodbye to Abby since we missed her last week when we were in Bend. He passed through Klamath and drove right past to make a final resting place for the night in Reno. Tomorrow he will make it the rest of the way to Vegas. 

The kids and I had other adventurous plans of our own today. We attended a fabulous tea party for my cousins baby shower. The kids loved eating all of the sweet treats that were prepared and they snuck away with some candy in their pockets! They all made me their own version of tea cups,

and they made it home with some baby rubber ducks in their pockets.

They humored me and let me take a few photos to share tonight too.

 

As you can see they also took home balloons and Kian has on his old glasses. We had a little accident yesterday that I forgot to mention and we do have a slight puncture in the eye with another pair of broken frames. Hopefully we can get those fixed this week, and luckily the eye isn't super purple. 

We decided to finish off the night with some kid movies and snuggles just like mama likes. Now on to Day 3 to see what that has in store.
